Language-Related Skills in Bilingual Children With Specific Learning Disorders

Anna Riva et al.

Summary: This study aimed to understand the language-related skills of bilingual children with specific learning disorders (SLD). It found that both bilingualism and SLD have an impact on naming and errors for words with low frequency, while bilingualism also affects errors for high frequency words. Both bilingualism and SLD influence metalinguistic abilities and phonological awareness in children.
