Forming-free and multilevel resistive switching properties of hydrothermally synthesized hexagonal molybdenum oxide microrods

Swapnil R. Patil et al.

Summary: This study presents the forming-free and multilevel resistive switching properties of hexagonal molybdenum oxide microrods, with various techniques used to determine the different chemical properties of the microrods. The device exhibits double-valued charge-magnetic flux characteristics and multilevel resistive switching effects, with four distinct resistive states demonstrated during endurance and retention tests. The statistical analysis indicates minimal variation during cycle-to-cycle operation, and a possible resistive switching mechanism is proposed based on observed behavior.

Capacitive coupled non-zero I-V and type-II memristive properties of the NiFe2O4-TiO2 nanocomposite

Namita A. Ahir et al.

Summary: The present study demonstrated the capacitive coupled non-zero and type-II hysteresis behavior in nickel ferrite-titanium oxide nanocomposite, showing that the electrical properties are dependent on the magnitude of the electrical stimulus. By calculating charge-flux and characteristics, the dominance of memristive and type-II properties was further clarified, along with a proposed resistive switching mechanism. This research provides insights into explaining the non-zero and type-II hysteresis behavior of memristive devices.
