RABBITT phase transition across the ionization threshold

A process known as Reconstruction of Attosecond Beating by Interference of Two-Photon Transitions (RABBITT) reveals a similar phenomenon. The phase jumps in RABBITT as it crosses the ionization threshold and goes through discrete bound states can be related to the phase of continuous transitions above the threshold. This phase, previously undetermined experimentally, can now be assessed through under-threshold RABBITT.
