Dirac nodal line and Rashba spin-split surface states in nonsymmorphic ZrGeTe

Yun Yen et al.

Summary: Dirac semimetals, like ZrSiS, exhibit unique quantum phenomena and have potential applications. ZrGeTe, a member of the ZrSiS family with stronger spin-orbit coupling, shows Dirac line nodes and floating gapless surface states with Rashba spin-split helical spin texture. This study highlights the effects of large SOC on the electronic structure of ZrGeTe and its potential for future use in exotic quantum states.

Charge density wave and weak Kondo effect in a Dirac semimetal CeSbTe

Peng Li et al.

Summary: Through ARPES and LEED techniques, along with DFT calculations, it was found that CDW is formed in CeSbTe and interacts with the Kondo effect and topological states. The CDW order is driven by electron-phonon coupling, leading to robustness of the CDW order at high temperatures.

Spectroscopic evidence for the realization of a genuine topological nodal-line semimetal in LaSbTe

Summary: Nodal line semimetals have unique topological electronic structures and exotic physical properties, with only a few compounds experimentally verified; LaSbTe is confirmed as a genuine nodal line semimetal with Dirac nodes that can dictate macroscopic physical properties.
