This study investigated the effects of resistin on pancreatic cancer progression and chemoresistance, and explored the underlying mechanisms. However, unintentional errors occurred during the research process, leading to unverifiable experimental results. Consequently, the conclusions of the study are considered invalid, and the article has been retracted.
Retraction: Resistin effects on pancreatic cancer progression and chemoresistance are mediated through its receptors CAP1 and TLR4, by Min Zhang, Li Yan, Gui-Jie Wang, and Ronghui Jin, J Cell Physiol. 2019, 9457-9466. The above article, published online on 14 October 2018 in Wiley Online Library () has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The authors asked for a retraction and stated that unintentional errors occurred during the research process, so that the experimental results cannot be verified. Thus, the conclusions are considered to be invalid. The authors were not available to approve the retraction text after the investigation was concluded.
