Methane and carbon dioxide emissions from different ecosystems at the end of dry period in South Vietnam

Jiri Dusek et al.

Summary: The study calculated fluxes of CH4 and CO2 from four different ecosystems in South Vietnam and found that the highest CH4 emissions were in the Melaleuca forest, while negative CH4 fluxes were recorded in the mountain rain forest. CO2 fluxes indicated aerobic activity predominated in the soils of the ecosystems investigated.
