Assessing the mental health condition of home-confined university level students of Bangladesh due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Summary: During the COVID-19 pandemic, the mental health status of Bangladeshi university students was significantly affected. Factors such as having family members affected by the coronavirus, facing insecurity, using social media, and smoking habits were found to increase mental health imbalances, while concerns about studying, future career, spending time with family, and participation in household chores were associated with reduced mental health disturbances. Additionally, sleeping time and participation in household chores were identified as preventive factors for students.

Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic on College Student Mental Health and Wellness
