This study presents a collection of research studies on Nano fluids, including the preparation and synthesis of different types of nanomaterials, and discusses in detail the performance of Nano fluids in terms of electrical breakdown voltage, impulse test, and dielectric and thermal behavior.
High voltage alternating current and high voltage direct current has inspired different authors to concentrate on insulation system, that withstand the rising high voltage level; various researchers have carried out experimental work to prove strength and abilities of transformer oil. This is done by adding different nanoparticles in the oil (Nano fluid) for different transformer applications. In short, this study presents a collection of research studies, which involves preparation of various types of nanomaterial's and their synthetisation. The performance of Nano fluids like electrical breakdown voltage, impulse test and dielectric and thermal behaviour has also been discussed in detail.
