These trends are expected to rise in 2040, with transitioning countries experiencing a larger increase compared to transitioned countries due to demographic changes and risk factors associated with globalization and a growing economy. Efforts to improve cancer prevention measures and provision of cancer care in transitioning countries will be crucial for global cancer control.

Summary: This retrospective study evaluated the feasibility and safety of CT-guided simultaneous microcoil localizations of multiple pulmonary nodules. The technical success rate of the multiple localization group was 96.2%, which was slightly lower than the 98.0% in the single localization group, but the rate of complications (pneumothorax or pulmonary hemorrhage) was significantly higher in the multiple localization group compared to the single localization group.

Nodule depth was identified as an independent risk factor for pulmonary hemorrhage.
