Summary: This study used eye tracking to investigate gaze characteristics based on color preference survey of the dental unit chair. It found that the color perception by eye tracking did not match the color preference by survey. Most subjects viewed pink as the most attractive color, regardless of personal preference. Subjects tended to prefer psychological color images associated with warmth, friendliness, and calmness, aiming to replace anxiety or fear with comfort and tranquility when visiting the dental hospital.
