Air Bubble Bridge-Based Bioinspired Underwater Adhesion

Yan Wang et al.

Summary: This study introduces a novel concept of underwater adhesion inspired by diving beetles, using air bubbles as adhesives for nondestructive and repeatable adhesion. The design of strong, reusable surface adhesive based on air bubble bridges shows promise in applications of particle manipulation and self-assembly.
