Newly observed exotic doubly charmed meson Tcc+

S. S. Agaev et al.

Summary: In this work, the newly observed doubly charmed four-quark state T-cc(+) is treated as an axial-vector tetraquark and its spectroscopic parameters and width are calculated. Various methods, including the QCD two-point sum rule method and QCD three-point sum rule method, are used to determine the mass, current coupling, and width of the tetraquark T-cc(+).

Can we understand the decay width of the Tcc+ state?

Xi-Zhe Ling et al.

Summary: Inspired by the recent discovery of a doubly charmed tetraquark state T-cc(+) by the LHCb Collaboration, this study investigates the decay width of T-cc(+) using the effective Lagrangian approach and assumes it to be an isoscalar DD* molecule. The results show that both T-cc -> DD pi and T-cc -> DD gamma contribute to the decay width, with the former being dominant.

Ning Li et al.

The D*Dπ and B*Bπ couplings from light-cone sum rules

Alexander Khodjamirian et al.

Summary: In this study, we revisit the calculation of the strong couplings D*D pi and B*B pi using QCD light-cone sum rules with the pion light-cone distribution amplitudes. The accuracy of the correlation function is improved by taking into account gluon radiative corrections to the twist-3 terms, and the double spectral density of the correlation function is presented in an analytical form for the first time. Predictions for g(D*D pi) = 14.1(-1.2)(+1.3) and g(B*B pi) = 30.0(-2.4)(+2.6) are made when using decay constants of heavy mesons from lattice QCD results, and comparisons are made with experimental values and lattice QCD calculations.

A survey of heavy-heavy hadronic molecules

Xiang-Kun Dong et al.

Summary: In this study, the spectrum of hadronic molecules composed of heavy-antiheavy charmed hadrons was examined, with experimental candidates such as X(3872) and Y(4260) fitting well. The success in describing heavy-antiheavy hadronic molecules led to predictions for heavy-heavy cases, highlighting the potential existence of DD* and D-(*)Sigma((*))(c) molecules. Recent experimental findings support the existence of heavy-heavy hadronic molecules, providing opportunities for further observation in upcoming LHCb and other experiments.

Understanding the K*/K ratio in heavy ion collisions

C. Le Roux et al.

Summary: The study investigates the dissociation of K* meson in heavy ion collisions during the hadron gas phase. By calculating production and absorption cross sections of K* and K mesons in a hadron gas, the time evolution of K* abundance and K*/K ratio during the hadron gas phase is computed. The obtained function of K*/K as a function of (dN/d eta(eta=0)) shows excellent agreement with recent experimental data, assuming a Bjorken type cooling and using an empirical relation between freeze-out temperature and central multiplicity density.

The multiple-charm hierarchy in the statistical hadronization model

Anton Andronic et al.

Summary: This study presents a quantitative description of hadron production in relativistic nuclear collisions using the Statistical Hadronization Model (SHM), focusing on hadrons containing light and charm quarks. The model successfully incorporates charm quarks as 'impurities' and can accurately predict the multiplicity of single charm hadrons in lead-lead collisions at LHC energies. Additionally, the model is extended to lighter collision systems and includes doubly- and triply-charmed hadrons, showing a characteristic enhancement hierarchy in the production probabilities of these states.

Production of Tcc plus exotic state in the γp → D plus T over line cc- Λc plus reaction

Yin Huang et al.

Summary: This study proposes the production of a new exotic charged structure T+cc using the central diffractive mechanism, with the total cross sections of the corresponding reaction evaluated based on chiral unitary theory. The results suggest that the cross section for the gamma p -> D+ T over bar -ccA+c reaction can be measured in proposed Electron-Ion Collider in China or experiments in the U.S., potentially verifying the nature of T+cc.

Production of doubly charmed exotic hadrons in heavy ion collisions

Yuanyuan Hu et al.

Summary: This paper demonstrates how heavy ion collisions can serve as a powerful platform for studying doubly charmed exotic hadrons, providing valuable insights into the dynamics of hadron structures in a charm-rich environment. The yields of T-cc(+) and its isospin partners in Pb-Pb collisions show significant enhancements compared to proton-proton collisions. The results on rapidity, transverse momentum dependence, and elliptic flow coefficient can be further tested by future experimental measurements.

Summary: Researchers have discovered the tetraquark system T thorn cc, which may have a significant molecular component, and have calculated its decay process and differential spectrum in good agreement with experimental measurements. Color and baryon number fluctuation of preconfinement system in production process and Tcc structure

Yi Jin et al.

Summary: This study suggests investigating the production mechanism and properties of the recently observed T-cc resonance to probe its structure. The similarity between T-cc and Xi(cc) can be determined by examining their production properties and kinematics spectra. Additionally, measuring the momentum correlation of DD* can help determine if T-cc is produced as a hadron molecule. The current cross-section calculations using a nonrelativistic hadron molecule model are significantly lower than experimental measurements.
