Reversing Lindblad Dynamics via Continuous Petz Recovery Map

Hyukjoon Kwon et al.

Summary: An important issue in developing quantum technology is the sensitivity of quantum states to noise. We propose a protocol that uses reverse dynamics to precisely control quantum systems against noise. By constructing the Petz recovery map, we explore the potential of using near-optimal recovery to control noisy quantum dynamics.

Markovian semigroup from mixing noninvertible dynamical maps

Katarzyna Siudzinska

Summary: This study examines the convex combinations of noninvertible generalized Pauli dynamical maps, demonstrating the ability to produce channels with various types of singularities by manipulating mixing parameters. Specifically, it shows how noninvertible dynamical maps can generate the Markovian semigroup, with mixed maps resulting in changes to the generators and memory kernels. These changes occur even when the formulas contain infinities due to the irregular nature of the time-local generators and time-homogeneous memory kernels.
