Consequences of increased hypertriton binding for s-shell Λ-hypernuclear systems

M. Schafer et al.

Summary: The consequences of increasing the binding energy of the hypertriton ground state on s-shell hypernuclei are studied within a pionless effective field theory approach, finding that the Lambda nn(1/2(+)) resonance becomes broader and the spin-flip virtual state moves closer to the Lambda d threshold. The impact on femtoscopic studies of Lambda-deuteron correlations and the potential shallow bound state are discussed in relation with experimental observances.

Hyperon Dynamics in Heavy-Ion Collisions near Threshold Energy

Ding-Chang Zhang et al.

Summary: The isospin and in-medium effects on hyperon production in the Au-197 + Au-197 reaction were thoroughly investigated using a quantum molecular dynamics transport model. Results show that hyperon yields are suppressed in the presence of a potential and are emitted in the reaction plane. The σ(-)/σ(+) ratio depends on the stiffness of nuclear symmetry energy.

Light Nuclei (d, t) Production in Au plus Au Collisions at √sNN=7.7-200 GeV

Dingwei Zhang

Summary: This study investigates the production of light nuclei in Au+Au collisions to explore the possibility of finding QCD phase transitions and/or critical points in high-energy nuclear collisions, where a non-monotonic energy dependence with a peak around 20-30 GeV was observed.

Deciphering the Nature of X(3872) in Heavy Ion Collisions

Hui Zhang et al.

Summary: Exploring the production of X(3872) in heavy ion collisions reveals the crucial role of fireball volume in distinguishing between hadronic molecules and compact tetraquarks, leading to significant differences in yield and centrality dependence. The first prediction of X(3872) elliptic flow coefficient is made for future experimental measurements.

Observation of Coulomb-Assisted Nuclear Bound State of Ξ- -14N System

S. H. Hayakawa et al.

Summary: In an emulsion-counter hybrid experiment at J-PARC, a Xi(-) absorption event was observed, which further decayed into twin single-Lambda hypernuclei. Kinematic calculations enabled a unique identification of the reaction process as Xi(-) +N-14 -> Be-10(Lambda) + He-5(Lambda). The binding energy of the Xi(-) hyperon in the Xi(-) -N-14 system was deduced to be 1.27 +/- 0.21 MeV, suggesting that the energy level of Xi(-) may be a nuclear 1p state with weak Xi N-Lambda Lambda coupling.

Integral equations and binding energies for Λ - NN and Λ - NNN systems

M. Egorov et al.

Summary: This study presents a systematic treatment of constructing and solving the Faddeev-Yakubovsky integral equations for three and four particles with non-zero spin, with T-matrices expressed in terms of solutions of the three-body Faddeev integral equations. The general spin-angular structure of the four-body equations is then reduced to a three-body system by eliminating one body, resulting in an infinite system of one-dimensional coupled equations. The method is tested on Lambda - NN and Lambda - NNN systems, showing close agreement with experimental results.

Production of Pcs (4459) from Ξb Decay

Qi Wu et al.

Summary: Inspired by the recent work on P-cs (4459) by the LHCb collaboration, this study investigates the production of P-cs (4459) from Xi(b) decay using an effective Lagrangian approach. The estimated branching fractions for Xi(b) -> P-cs (4459) K are of the order of 10(-4) for different J(P) assignments to P-cs (4459). These estimations, combined with the decay properties of P-cs (4459), could be further confirmed through precise measurements, contributing to a better understanding of molecular interpretations and exploration of the J(P) quantum numbers of P-cs (4459).

Deuteron production in relativistic heavy ion collisions via stochastic multiparticle reactions

J. Staudenmaier et al.

Summary: In this study, deuteron production via deuteron pion and nucleon catalysis reactions is investigated using stochastic multiparticle reactions for the first time. The impact of multiparticle collisions on the time required for deuterons to reach partial chemical equilibrium with nucleons is analyzed, showing a substantial reduction. Additionally, the final yield of deuterons is found to be practically independent from the number of deuterons at particlization, confirming previous study results.

Light nuclei production in a multiphase transport model for relativistic heavy ion collisions

Kai-Jia Sun et al.

Summary: Through studying the production of deuteron and triton by nucleon coalescence in relativistic heavy ion collisions using an improved multiphase transport model, it was found that the yield ratio of proton, deuteron, and triton is a monotonic function of collision energy. This study confirms previous results showing that the yield ratio does not exhibit nonmonotonic behavior with collision energy in models with no phase transition or a crossover transition between quark-gluon plasma and hadronic matter.
