Hierarchically porous graphene with macro-mesopores was fabricated via two-step calcination and showed excellent lithium storage performance.
Hierarchically porous graphene with macro-mesopores is highly desired for enhancing lithium storage. However, it is still not easy to construct such materials with hierarchical porosity. Herein, hierarchical porous graphene was successfully fabricated via two-step calcination. The as-prepared sample exhibits an excellent reversible capacity of 545 mA h g(-1) at 5 A g(-1) after 700 cycles.
