Medical Schools as Racialized Organizations: A Primer

Medical schools and professional societies are now reflecting on their role in perpetuating racial inequality and structural racism in medical training, with the potential for meaningful change yet to be determined. Success in addressing these issues will require a deep understanding of racism's fundamental role in medical education and a commitment to dismantling structural barriers that perpetuate racial inequities.
