Quantitative thermosensation in a single touch

B. Pan et al.

Summary: This paper introduces a flexible thermal sensor that can be used on robotic fingers to achieve rapid measurement of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity for different materials. By a single touch of the robot finger, the thermal properties of an object can be measured in less than 2 seconds.

Measuring Core Body Temperature Using a Non-invasive, Disposable Double-Sensor During Targeted Temperature Management in Post-cardiac Arrest Patients

David Janke et al.

Summary: This study evaluated a disposable, non-invasive temperature sensor for core body temperature measurement during targeted temperature management after cardiac arrest. Results showed that the sensor demonstrated excellent reliability compared to the standard esophageal thermometer, with no significant differences in measurement accuracy. The study also confirmed that the sensor placement did not cause skin irritation or allergic reactions.

Noncured Graphene Thermal Interface Materials for High-Power Electronics: Minimizing the Thermal Contact Resistance

Sriharsha Sudhindra et al.

Summary: The study found that the thermal contact resistance of noncuring graphene thermal interface materials with different surface roughness depends on the graphene loading. Decreasing surface roughness can significantly reduce the thermal contact resistance. These results are crucial for thermal management of high-power-density electronics.
