Topological kink states in graphene

Zibo Wang et al.

Summary: Graphene exhibits exotic electronic properties due to its unique band structure. Topological kink states with one-dimensional valley polarization and valley-momentum locking nature have been observed in graphene systems, showing potential for manipulation in valleytronics. This paper reviews theoretical research and experimental progress on topological kink states in various graphene-like systems, as well as their applications in valley filters, current partition, and Majorana zero modes.
