Detection Methods and Research Progress of Human Serum Albumin

A series of simple curcumin-derived colorimetric and fluorescent probes for ratiometric-pH sensing and cell imaging

Summary: In this study, a simple fluorescent dye called BFCUR was developed for pH sensing. By deprotonating the phenolic hydroxyl groups, BFCUR exhibited significant red-shift and enhanced fluorescence emission, allowing for ratiometric pH detection and visual pH detection using test strips. BFCUR also showed low cytotoxicity and was successfully applied for intracellular pH detection. The findings highlight the great potential of CUR-derived BFCUR as colorimetric and fluorescent probes for ratiometric pH sensing and cell imaging.

Recent advances of AIE light-up probes for photodynamic therapy

The review summarizes recent advances of AIE light-up probes for PDT, introducing strategies and principles for designing AIE photosensitizers and light-up probes and elaborating on their applications in photodynamic antitumor and antibacterial applications.
