Theoretical analysis of modified eyring powell fluid flow

A. S. Oke

Summary: The Eyring-Powell fluid can exhibit shear-thickening properties under specific conditions, and a modified model is proposed to explain the contradictory results obtained by different researchers. The study also reveals that increasing the Prandtl number leads to a decrease in temperature, and increasing the Eyring-Powell parameters influences the skin-friction coefficient and heat transfer rate differently under shear-thinning and shear-thickening conditions.

Heat and Mass Transfer in 3D MHD Flow of EG-Based Ternary Hybrid Nanofluid Over a Rotating Surface

Abayomi Samuel Oke

Summary: This study analyzed the heat and mass transfer in a rotating surface with magnetic hydrodynamic ternary ethylene-glycol-based hybrid nanofluid, considering the impact of suction velocity. The transport equations were transformed into ordinary differential equations and numerically solved using the bvp4c solver. The effects of different parameters on velocity and temperature were displayed through various graphs. The results showed that the Coriolis force and stretching parameter had opposite effects on the skin friction coefficient and heat transfer.

Role of hybrid nanoparticles in thermal performance of peristaltic flow of Eyring-Powell fluid model

Arshad Riaz et al.

Summary: The analysis reveals that fluid axial velocity increases with larger aspect ratio and thermophoresis parameter, but decreases with Brownian motion and fluid factors. On the other hand, the channel aspect ratio shows an inverse relationship with peristaltic pressure, fluid temperature, and nanoparticles concentration.

Coriolis effects on MHD flow of MEP fluid over a non-uniform surface in the presence of thermal radiation

A. S. Oke

Summary: This study investigates the flow of electrically conducting Eyring-Powell fluid over a rotating surface, with findings suggesting that the properties of the fluid can be modulated by modifying a specific parameter. Numerical simulations show that the primary velocity decreases with increasing rotation, magnetic field strength, and MEP parameter, but increases with velocity index.

Significance of viscous dissipation on MHD Eyring-Powell flow past a convectively heated stretching sheet

Summary: The study indicates that enhancing viscous dissipations can boost the primary velocity and temperature of MHD Eyring-Powell flow, while increasing magnetic field strength impedes the flow and reduces shear drag in the boundary layer.
