This paper recovers cubic-quartic perturbed solitons in fiber Bragg gratings with quadratic-cubic law nonlinear refractive index using the unified Riccati equation expansion method and the modified Kudryashov's approach. The parameter constraints for the existence of such solitons are also presented.
