Evaluation of statistical methods used in the analysis of interrupted time series studies: a simulation study

Summary: The study compared the performance of a set of statistical methods in different scenarios, showing that most methods yielded unbiased estimates for level and slope changes but underestimated autocorrelation. Care is needed when interpreting results from all methods, as confidence intervals will generally be too narrow.
