A Flexible, Acoustic Localized Sensor with Mass Block-Beam Structure Based on Polydimethylsiloxane-Silver Nanowires

Qiang Zhang et al.

Summary: The study introduces the consistent fabrication of a thin-film acoustic sensor array, capable of recording sound in the frequency domain of 20-2000 Hz with a volume detection range of 83-108 dB. It achieved 360 degrees azimuth detection in two-dimensional space with an accuracy of 15 degrees and used two flexible acoustic sensors in three-dimensional space to detect the position of a sound source. This research marks the first step in using flexible acoustic sensors for sound source orientation testing.
