This paper investigates cubic-quartic optical solitons for the perturbed Gerdjikov-Ivanov equation. Both the scalar case and birefringent fibers are considered. The perturbation terms are limited to the maximum permissible intensity. A complete spectrum of soliton solutions is recovered and listed.
