Pyrazole bridges ensure highly stable and insensitive bistetrazoles

Jatinder Singh et al.

Summary: The synthesis of new compounds with high thermal stability and insensitivity by introducing a bridging molecule between symmetric or asymmetric azole units is proven to be successful. The study successfully synthesized a new class of pyrazole-bridged bistetrazole and bis(1-hydroxytetrazolyl) compounds with excellent thermal stabilities and other outstanding properties.

Studies on Aluminum Agglomeration and Combustion in Catalyzed Composite Propellants

K. Tejasvi et al.

Summary: Composite propellants were tested to estimate the particle size distribution of aluminum agglomerates under different pressures using the quench particle collection bomb. Results showed significant variations in agglomerate sizes for catalyzed and non-catalyzed propellants at different pressures. The continuous combustion of unburnt aluminum during the burning process led to the formation of spherical agglomerates.
