In this paper, a method for separating soft and collinear logarithms in QCD parton evolution at O(alpha(2)(s)) and leading color is proposed. The authors implement this technique in the DIRE parton shower and analyze the numerical impact of genuine triple-collinear corrections from quark pair emission in e(+)e(-) -> hadrons process.
We introduce a method for the separation of soft and collinear logarithms in QCD parton evolution at O(alpha(2)(s)) and at leading color. Using an implementation of the technique in the DIRE parton shower, we analyze the numerical impact of genuine triple-collinear corrections from quark pair emission in e(+)e(-) -> hadrons.
