Early incisor lesions and Equine Odontoclastic Tooth Resorption and Hypercementosis: Reliability of radiographic findings

Louisa Albers et al.

Summary: It is difficult to achieve early diagnosis of Equine Odontoclastic Tooth Resorption and Hypercementosis (EOTRH) and other resorptive incisor diseases in clinical practice. This study described and evaluated the radiographic features of early incisor lesions using multiple examination methods, and found that these lesions are challenging to detect on the palatal/lingual side of the teeth.
