What the public in England know about antibiotic use and resistance in 2020: a face-to-face questionnaire survey

The findings revealed variations in knowledge and attitudes among the participants. The majority of respondents expressed trust in healthcare professionals' antibiotic decision-making, although only a small percentage would challenge such decisions. Individuals from lower socioeconomic backgrounds, ethnic minorities, and those with lower education levels demonstrated less understanding about antibiotics and resistance.
