Dynamical Phases and Quantum Correlations in an Emitter-Waveguide System with Feedback

Giuseppe Buonaiuto et al.

Summary: This study investigates the creation and control of emergent collective behavior and quantum correlations using feedback in an emitter-waveguide system. It shows the emergence of a time-crystal phase and the control of many-body quantum correlations through feedback strength. The largely analytical results quantify spin squeezing and fluctuations, revealing critical scaling close to the transition to the time crystal.

Multipartite quantum correlations in a two-mode Dicke model

Rodolfo R. Soldati et al.

Summary: In this study, multipartite correlations in a generalized Dicke model involving two optical modes interacting with an ensemble of two-level atoms are analyzed. The results show the existence of genuine tripartite entanglement in the vicinity of the critical lines, where quantum correlations are shared between the atoms and the two modes.

Driven-dissipative Ising model: An exact field-theoretical analysis

Daniel A. Paz et al.

Summary: Driven-dissipative many-body systems are difficult to analyze due to their nonequilibrium dynamics, dissipation, and many-body interactions. In this paper, we developed an exact field-theoretical analysis and a diagrammatic representation of a driven-dissipative infinite-range Ising model, showing critical behavior, finite-size scaling, and the effective temperature near phase transitions. The study revealed distinct critical behaviors at phase transitions, with overdamped and underdamped dynamics depending on the dissipative critical points.

Cavity QED with quantum gases: new paradigms in many-body physics

Farokh Mivehvar et al.

Summary: The field of quantum-gas cavity QED has rapidly evolved over the past decade, offering opportunities to implement, simulate, and experimentally test fundamental solid-state Hamiltonians as well as non-equilibrium many-body phenomena. Notable experiments have observed various phenomena by designing and controlling photon-induced tunable-range interactions in open quantum environments.
