Axial-ligand-cleavable silicon phthalocyanines triggered by near-infrared light toward design of photosensitizers for photoimmunotherapy

Hideo Takakura et al.

Summary: The study found that the efficiency of axial ligand cleavage in near-infrared photoimmunotherapy is related to the basicity of the ligand, with ligands of higher basicity showing better cleavage efficiency.

Analysis of the triplet-state kinetics of a photosensitizer for photoimmunotherapy by fluorescence correlation spectroscopy

Hideo Takakura et al.

Summary: In this study, the intersystem crossing quantum yield (Phi(ISC)) of a silicon phthalocyanine derivatized from IRDye700DX (IR700) was evaluated using fluorescence correlation spectroscopy (FCS). The calculated Phi(ISC) was 0.019 +/- 0.002, and the FCS measurement was validated through experiments with potassium iodide.
