Summary: The study found that low socioeconomic groups have lower intake of healthy food and drinks, but similar intake of discretionary choices compared to high socioeconomic groups. Low socioeconomic groups cannot afford a healthy diet, and their lower intake of healthy choices may contribute to their higher rates of diet-related diseases.
