Catalytic Oxidation of NO on N-doped Carbon Materials at Low Temperature

Xiuyong Zou et al.

Summary: By hetero atom doping, a nitrogen-doped porous carbon was synthesized and applied for catalytic oxidation removal of NO. The optimal conversion rate of NO reached 67.2% due to the formation of a large number of active centers of pyridine nitrogen (N-6) groups and graphitic nitrogen (N-Q) groups. The impregnation solution concentration and calcination temperature play key roles in preparing structurally stable nitrogen-modified carbon.
