The effects of Nano-Fe2O3 on the mechanical, physical and microstructure of cementitious composites

Summary: The study investigated the properties of cement composites and mortars in the presence of Nano-Fe2O3 as a modifier. The addition of Nano-Fe2O3 altered the phase composition and molecular structure of the cement composites, leading to enhanced mechanical performance of mortar samples. Higher dosages of Nano-Fe2O3 resulted in the formation of three-membered silicate rings in the composite samples.
