Negativity spectra in random tensor networks and holography

Jonah Kudler-Flam et al.

Summary: The negativity spectrum, a measure of entanglement, is investigated in both pure and mixed states. A diagrammatic method and modification of the Ford-Fulkerson algorithm are used to find the negativity spectrum in random tensor networks and holographic states. New negativity spectra are discovered in these systems, as well as in phase transitions and wormholes.

Charged Renyi negativity of massless free bosons

Hui-Huang Chen

Summary: This paper investigates the computation of charged moments of the reduced density matrix of two disjoint intervals in the 1+1 dimensional free compactified boson conformal field theory. By studying the four-point function of the fluxed twist fields, the exact scaling function of this four-point function is obtained, and its decompactification limit is discussed. The analytic formula is tested against exact numerical computation, showing perfect agreement.

Dynamics of fluctuations in quantum simple exclusion processes

Denis Bernard et al.

Summary: This study investigates the dynamics of fluctuations in the Q-ASEP model, finding that fluctuations of fermionic degrees of freedom follow evolution equations of Lindblad type and deriving the corresponding Lindbladians. The study shows that Lindbladian correspond to known Yang-Baxter integrable models in the case of Q-SSEP and investigates level-spacing statistics. The dynamics of observable fluctuations are described by closed sets of coupled linear differential-difference equations, and a continuum scaling limit is constructed. The results are applied to the study of operator spreading and operator entanglement.

Charged moments in W3 higher spin holography

Suting Zhao et al.

Summary: In this paper, we study the charged moments in SL(3, M) higher spin holography and compare them with the dual two-dimensional conformal field theory with W-3 symmetry. For the vacuum state and a single entangling interval, we find that the W-3 algebra of the conformal field theory induces an entanglement W-3 algebra acting on the quantum state in the entangling interval. By computing the corresponding connected correlation functions of the modular charge operator up to quartic order in the chemical potential, we evaluate the logarithm of the charged moments perturbatively. Our result matches known results obtained from the charged topological black hole picture in SL(3, M) higher spin gravity.

Replica wormholes and the black hole interior

Geoff Penington et al.

Summary: Recent work has shown how to obtain the Page curve of an evaporating black hole through holographic computations of entanglement entropy. The validity of these computations is justified using the replica trick and geometries with a spacetime wormhole connecting the different replicas. The Page transition is studied in detail in a simple model by summing replica geometries with different topologies. Related quantities are computed in less detail in more complicated models like JT gravity coupled to conformal matter and the SYK model. Additionally, a direct gravitational argument for entanglement wedge reconstruction is given using the explicit formula known as the Petz map, where the spacetime wormhole plays a significant role. The interpretation of the wormhole geometries as part of some ensemble average implicit in the gravity description is also discussed.

Equipartition of entanglement in quantum Hall states

Summary: In this study, we investigate the full counting statistics (FCS) and symmetry-resolved entanglement entropies of integer and fractional quantum Hall states. The behavior of FCS and entanglement entropies in the limit of large perimeters is obtained by computing the charged moments associated with a cut orthogonal to the cylinder's axis. The results show that FCS follows a Gaussian distribution and entanglement spreads evenly among different charge sectors. Subleading charge-dependent corrections and entanglement spectroscopy are also analyzed and matched with numerical computations.

Furthermore, we study the scaling of Delta S-m in one-dimensional thermal systems using high-temperature expansion and conformal field theory.

Summary: Symmetry-resolved entanglement entropies are a refinement of the usual notion of entanglement entropy of a subsystem in the presence of a conserved quantity. Finite-size corrections to this phenomenon were examined, with the nature of the symmetry group playing a crucial role in the decay rate of the corrections.

Observing Floquet topological order by symmetry resolution

Daniel Azses et al.

Summary: Symmetry-protected topological order in one dimension leads to protected degeneracies between symmetry blocks of the reduced density matrix. In the presence of periodic driving, topological Floquet phases can be identified in terms of a cycling of these symmetry blocks between different charge quantum numbers. By adiabatically moving along the phase diagram, we demonstrate that the cycling periodicity is broken in Floquet topological phase transitions. An equivalent signature of the topological Floquet phase is identified as a computational power allowing for the teleportation of quantum information.

Entanglement Negativity Spectrum of Random Mixed States: A Diagrammatic Approach

Hassan Shapourian et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the entanglement properties of random mixed states, showing that the logarithmic negativity behaves similarly to the Page curve in different ranges of subregion sizes, with an intermediate phase where it only depends on the size of the system and the bath. When the bath is larger than the system by at least two extra qubits, the logarithmic negativity is identically zero, indicating no distillable entanglement. Using a diagrammatic approach, the semi-circle law of the entanglement negativity spectrum in the two latter regimes is derived, revealing deviations from the Gaussian unitary ensemble for higher-order corrections.

U(1) symmetry resolved entanglement in free 1+1 dimensional field theories via form factor bootstrap

Summary: In this study, the form factor bootstrap approach is extended to integrable field theories with U(1) symmetry to derive matrix elements of composite branch-point twist fields associated with symmetry resolved entanglement entropies. The exact and complete solution for the bootstrap equations is presented for the free massive Dirac and complex boson theories, including vacuum expectation values and form factors involving any type and arbitrarily number of particles.
