Home Spirometry Telemonitoring for Early Detection of Bronchiolitis Obliterans Syndrome in Patients with Chronic Graft-versus-Host Disease

Jane Turner et al.

Summary: Home monitoring of weekly spirometry via wireless handheld devices in high-risk patients is feasible for early detection of BOS, although adherence to weekly measurements needs improvement. Correlation between home FEV1 and laboratory FEV1 is high, suggesting reliability of home spirometry for close monitoring of pulmonary function.
