Trends in the Use of Minimally Invasive Adnexal Surgery in the United States

Summary: The study shows that minimally invasive surgery is the preferred choice for most women undergoing ovarian cystectomy and oophorectomy for benign indications. Compared to laparotomy, minimally invasive surgery is associated with lower complication rates.
