Exciting advances and future research directions for designing highly efficient 2D photoanodes are also provided.

This work provides a promising strategy for optimizing OER catalysts and constructing highly efficient and stable PEC water splitting devices.

Photoelectrocatalytic C-H halogenation over an oxygen vacancy-rich TiO2 photoanode
