Mass-coupled relativistic spontaneous collapse models

Summary: There is currently no satisfactory relativistic spontaneous collapse model. It is shown that a simple generalization of the continuous spontaneous collapse (CSL) model to the relativistic framework is impossible. A Lorentz covariant collapse equation cannot simultaneously satisfy the conditions of avoiding a divergent rate of energy and preventing superluminal signalling.
