Growth and characterization of high-quality single-crystalline SnTe retaining cubic symmetry down to the lowest temperature studied

Ayanesh Maiti et al.

Summary: In this study, we have grown SnTe using a modified method and examined its properties. The results demonstrate that the ground state structure of SnTe can be stabilized in the cubic phase at low temperatures and exhibits typical characteristics of a topological material. This provides potential for SnTe in quantum applications.

Evidence of nontrivial Berry phase and Kondo physics in SmBi

Anup Pradhan Sakhya et al.

Summary: The study investigates the electronic properties of high-quality single-crystalline SmBi through magnetic and resistivity measurements, revealing characteristics of antiferromagnetic order and Kondo system. The material shows topological properties, as indicated by the magnetization and resistivity measurements, suggesting fermiology in the antiferromagnetic state of the Kondo system.

Anomalies in the temperature evolution of Dirac states in the topological crystalline insulator SnTe

Ayanesh Maiti et al.

Summary: The study explores the temperature evolution of Dirac fermion states in a mirror-symmetry protected topological crystalline insulator, revealing complex changes in surface band structure and electronic behavior as temperature varies. The experiments demonstrate anomalies in band positions and intensities at different temperatures, highlighting the influence of temperature-induced structural changes on topological properties in emerging quantum materials.
