This study investigates the impact of temperature variation on the self-trapping nonlinearity of an incoherently coupled dark-bright soliton pair in biased centrosymmetric photorefractive crystal. The results show that an increase in temperature leads to an expansion of the soliton width.
We study the consequence of temperature variation of the photorefractive crystal on the self-trapping of an incoherently coupled dark-bright soliton pair in biased centrosymmetric photorefractive crystal for the first time. A variation in temperature changes the value of the dielectric constant and the dark irradiance, hence affecting the self-trapping nonlinearity. We find that the soliton width increases with an increase in temperature. Potassium lithium tantalate niobate (KLTN) has been considered as a relevant example to illustrate our results.
