DIY Wrist-Worn Device for Physiological Monitoring: Metrological Evaluation at Different Band Tightening Levels

Summary: Wearable devices are widely used in healthcare, but little research has focused on the impact of wearing conditions on data reliability. This study examines the variability of heart rate and tightening force data collected from a DIY wrist-worn device at three different band tightening levels. The results indicate that the coefficient of variation is lowest when the band is tightened to a medium level.
