Development of a portable MIP-based electrochemical sensor for detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen

Abdul Raziq et al.

Summary: The newly developed MIP-based electrochemical sensor for detecting SARS-CoV-2 nucleoprotein shows a linear response up to 111 fM, with detection and quantification limits of 15 fM and 50 fM. This sensor has the capability to detect ncovNP in nasopharyngeal swab samples of COVID-19 positive patients, providing a new route for rapid COVID-19 diagnostic tools.

Analysis of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in COVID-19 convalescent blood using a coronavirus antigen microarray

Rafael R. de Assis et al.

Summary: Diagnosis of COVID-19 by PCR testing may underestimate the true prevalence of infection; serologic methods are more accurate and versatile for monitoring disease burden and epidemiology. A protein microarray with antigens from SARS-CoV-2, SARS-CoV, MERS-CoV, and common human respiratory viruses has been reported as a diagnostic, epidemiologic, and research tool.
