Dilepton Rapidity Distribution in Drell-Yan Production to Third Order in QCD

Xuan Chen et al.

Summary: We calculate the lepton-pair rapidity distribution in the photon-mediated Drell-Yan process to a high order in QCD for the first time. Our results demonstrate significant QCD corrections at this high order over the entire rapidity region, and independently confirm the recent results for the total Drell-Yan cross section.

Three-Loop Gluon Scattering in QCD and the Gluon Regge Trajectory

Fabrizio Caola et al.

Summary: This study computes the three-loop helicity amplitudes for the scattering of four gluons in QCD. It employs projectors in the ???t Hooft-Veltman scheme and constructs the amplitudes from a minimal set of physical building blocks, resulting in relatively compact results expressed in terms of harmonic polylogarithms. Additionally, the Regge limit of the amplitude is considered, and the gluon Regge trajectory in full three-loop QCD is extracted.

Quark and Gluon Form Factors in Four-Loop QCD

Roman N. Lee et al.

Summary: In this study, we computed the photon-quark and Higgs-gluon form factors to four-loop order within massless perturbative quantum chromodynamics. Our results provide ready-to-use building blocks for (NLO)-L-4 cross sections for Drell-Yan processes and gluon-fusion Higgs boson production at the LHC, and we present complete analytic expressions for both form factors and show several of the most complicated master integrals.

Scattering amplitudes in the Regge limit and the soft anomalous dimension through four loops

Giulio Falcioni et al.

Summary: In this paper, we studied the gauge-theory scattering amplitudes in the Regge limit using rapidity evolution equations. We computed the results at next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy through four loops and presented new findings for both infrared-singular and finite contributions to the amplitude. We introduced new techniques to derive the color structure from three-Reggeon exchange diagrams and obtained results applicable to any gauge group and scattered particles in any color representation. Moreover, we explored the separation between contributions to the Regge cut and Regge pole in the real part of the amplitude and demonstrated that planar contributions due to multiple-Reggeon exchange diagrams can be factorized as a Regge pole in addition to the single-Reggeon exchange.

Rapidity distribution at soft-virtual and beyond for n-colorless particles to N4LO in QCD

Taushif Ahmed et al.

Summary: This study presents a systematic framework for investigating the threshold contributions of the differential rapidity distribution for producing any number of colorless particles in hadronic colliders, utilizing the universality structure of soft enhancements and the factorization property. The research also provides analytical results for Higgs boson production and Drell-Yan production in hadronic colliders, extending the framework to include next to threshold contributions for diagonal partonic channels.

Three-loop helicity amplitudes for four-quark scattering in massless QCD

Fabrizio Caola et al.

Summary: This study calculates the three-loop corrections to the helicity amplitudes for q (q) over bar -> Q (Q) over bar scattering in massless QCD, reducing them to master integrals and expressing them in terms of harmonic polylogarithms. The renormalised amplitudes exhibit infrared divergences of dipole and quadrupole type, with finite remainders derived. Explicit results for all relevant partonic channels, including both equal and different quark flavours, are presented.

On next to soft threshold corrections to DIS and SIA processes

A. H. Ajjath et al.

Summary: This study investigates the perturbative structure of threshold enhanced logarithms in the coefficient functions of deep inelastic scattering and semi-inclusive e(+)e(-) annihilation processes, proposing a framework to sum them up to all orders in perturbation theory. Utilizing the Sudakov differential, renormalisation group equations, and factorisation properties of parton level cross sections, the resummed result predicts SV and next to SV contributions to all orders in the strong coupling constant. Large logarithms in the form of log(i)(N) are resummed in Mellin N space, with towers of logarithms for different values of alpha summed to all orders in a(s).

Cwebs beyond three loops in multiparton amplitudes

Summary: The study focuses on the exponentiation of correlators of Wilson-line operators in non-abelian gauge theories, introducing the concept of Cweb and computing the four-loop mixing matrices. The results demonstrate that the conjectured column sum rule is obeyed, and low-dimensional mixing matrices can be uniquely determined from their combinatorial properties.

Resummed predictions for hadronic Higgs boson decays

Simone Alioli et al.

Summary: In this paper, the NNLL' resummed 2-jettiness distribution for decays of the Standard Model Higgs boson to a bb-quark pair and to gluons is presented. The calculation relies on a factorisation formula derived using Soft-Collinear Effective Theory, where large logarithms of the 2-jettiness are resummed by renormalisation group evolution. The resummed predictions are matched to the fixed-order NNLO result using the Geneva framework, extending the validity of the results and providing a fully exclusive NNLO event generator matched to the Pythia8 parton shower.

Fermionic corrections to quark and gluon form factors in four-loop QCD

Summary: This study analytically computed all four-loop QCD corrections to the photon-quark and Higgs-gluon form factors involving a closed massless fermion loop.
