Summary: In this study, an integrative S-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst composed of Cd0.5Zn0.5S nanoparticles and BiOCl microflowers was developed for efficient degradation of PPCPs. The Cd0.5Zn0.5S/BiOCl showed significantly enhanced photo-activity and stability compared to pristine Cd0.5Zn0.5S or BiOCl, and it also demonstrated good resistance to various contaminants. The ability of Cd0.5Zn0.5S/BiOCl for PPCPs de-toxicity was verified through the evaluation of toxicity of norfloxacin and its degradation intermediate.

The boosted photocatalytic activity over perylene diimide modified Bi2O4 hybrid photocatalyst with internal electric field

Bi2WO6 doped with rare earth ions: Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity under simulated solar irradiation
