Feasibility of the experimental study of Ds*→ φπ decay

Yueling Yang et al.

Summary: The current knowledge on the D-s* meson is limited, but the weak decays of D-s* offer valuable opportunities for exploration. In this paper, the D-s* -> phi pi decay was studied using the factorization approach. It was found that the decay is feasible to be experimentally studied in the future, even considering the identification efficiency.

Inclusive approach to hunt for the beauty-charmed baryons Ξbc

Qin Qin et al.

Summary: In this work, the authors propose a golden channel for the experimental discovery of the beauty-charmed baryon Xi(bc) at the LHC, namely the inclusive Xi(bc) -> Xi(++)(cc)+X decay. They analyze the feasibility of the Xi(+)(bc) search, which is expected to have a longer lifetime and thus better displacement resolution compared to Xi(0)(bc). By calculating the branching ratio and combining the production rate and detection efficiency, it is anticipated that hundreds of signal events will be collected during LHCb Run 3.

Endpoint relations for baryons

Gudrun Hiller et al.

Summary: In this study, kinematic endpoint relations for baryon decays were established using the Wigner-Eckart theorem and applied to various baryon transitions. Angular distributions and constraints on form factors were provided, contributing to phenomenological parameterisations, consistency checks, and guidance for ongoing and future new physics searches at LHCb, BES III and Belle II.

Discovery potentials of double-charm tetraquarks

Qin Qin et al.

Summary: This study investigates the discovery potential of double-charm tetraquarks T4.6.4.6.1, finding that their production cross sections at LHCb could lead to their discovery in the near future. The research also discusses the production and decays of these particles at future Tera-Z factories.

Radiative decays of heavy-light mesons and the fH, H*, H1(T) decay constants

Ben Pullin et al.

Summary: The on-shell matrix elements and couplings describing radiative decays B(D)->B(D)q gamma and B->B gamma have been determined for the first time using light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order. Two different interpolating operators were used, providing additional robustness to the results. Agreement was found with experimentally known rates for the D*-meson, and the couplings governing the lowest pole residue in the form factors for B(D) -> gamma were connected to QED-corrections in leptonic decays B(D) -> l (nu) over bar.

Magic conditions for multiple rotational states of bialkali molecules in optical lattices

Q. Guan et al.

Summary: The study focuses on trapping ultracold bialkali molecules at the magic wavelength near weak optical transitions. It identifies a frequency window that can trap multiple rotational states simultaneously and provides analytical criteria for the existence of such magic frequency windows. These results are valuable for future experiments on ultracold polar molecules requiring long coherence times on multiple rotational transitions.
