Flexible, Transparent, and Hazy Composite Cellulosic Film with Interconnected Silver Nanowire Networks for EMI Shielding and Joule Heating

Meng Zhu et al.

Summary: The study presents a novel method to fabricate a transparent cellulose paper (TCP) with high transparency and favorable flexibility by infiltrating cellulose paper with epoxy resin, and constructing a silver nanowire (AgNW) network with high electrical conductivity and optical transmittance on the TCP substrate. Coating a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) layer protects the AgNW network, resulting in a PDMS/AgNWs/TCP composite film with high optical transmittance, good EMI shielding effectiveness, strong mechanical strength, and excellent Joule heating performance.

Transparent, conductive and flexible MXene grid/silver nanowire hierarchical films for high-performance electromagnetic interference shielding

Meng Jin et al.

Summary: This study demonstrates a crack-template assisted spraying method for the fabrication of transparent, flexible, and conductive MXene grid-silver nanowire hierarchical films. The optical transmittance and electrical conductivity of the MXene grid skeletons can be precisely manipulated by tuning the loading density of MXene sheets. Hierarchical structures are constructed using one-dimensional silver nanowires for increasing electron transport channels and enhancing light penetration. The resulting film exhibits high transmittance and excellent EMI shielding efficiency.

A Tailorable Spray-Assembly Strategy of Silver Nanowires-Bundle Mesh for Transferable High-Performance Transparent Conductor

Jiaqing Xiong et al.

Summary: The study achieved the preparation of AgNW-bundle mesh (AgBM) through spray-assembly at room temperature, demonstrating high optoelectronic performance. By revealing the dynamic assembly mechanism and controlling factors of spray assembly, a universal strategy for tailorable fabrication of AgBMs using AgNWs with different sizes was realized. Thinner and longer AgNWs can produce thinner AgNW-bundles/knots with better electrical connection, delivering higher optoelectronic performance.
