Seismic upgrading of existing reinforced concrete buildings: A state-of-the-art review

P. D. Gkournelos et al.

Summary: Strong earthquakes have caused collapses or serious damages to existing buildings, resulting in significant economic losses and loss of human lives. The scientific focus is now on developing techniques for seismic upgrading of existing buildings, particularly reinforced concrete buildings.
