Higgsino dark matter in pure gravity mediated supersymmetry

Jason L. Evans et al.

Summary: This study investigates the prospect of direct detection of dark matter in pure gravity mediation models of supersymmetry breaking. The authors find that the Higgsino is a viable dark matter candidate when the gravitino mass is around 1 PeV and the nonuniversal stop mass is 2. Existing experimental limits constrain the parameter space of pure gravity mediation, but future direct detection experiments have the potential to probe a significant portion of the remaining parameter space.

Race to find split Higgsino dark matter

Raymond T. Co et al.

Summary: Split Higgsinos, a class of models to explain dark matter, may soon be detected by multiple current experimental avenues. These models suggest a large split in scales between the electroweak scale and decoupled scalars, with relatively light Higgsinos between the two. They require few parameters, but can still explain gauge coupling unification, dark matter, and the hierarchy between the Planck and electroweak scales. We analyze the prospects of detecting split Higgsinos in current and future experiments, including the promising discovery potentials in electron electric dipole moment experiments.

Search for chargino-neutralino pair production in final states with three leptons and missing transverse momentum in √s=13 TeV pp collisions with the ATLAS detector

G. Aad et al.

Summary: This study presented a search for chargino-neutralino pair production in three-lepton final states with missing transverse momentum using data recorded by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. No significant excess beyond the Standard Model predictions was found. The results were interpreted in simplified models of supersymmetry and combined with previous results from a two-lepton final states search. Various scenarios for the production and decay of charginos and neutralinos were considered, leading to exclusion limits at 95% confidence level on their masses.

Nucleon decay in the R-parity violating MSSM

Nidal Chamoun et al.

Summary: This paper reanalyzes nucleon decay in the context of the R-parity violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, updating bounds on R-parity violating parameters based on recent experimental and lattice results. Special attention is paid to the derivation of these constraints, particularly focusing on hadronic matrix elements as the limiting factor for deriving reliable bounds.
