Psychological contract and work outcomes during COVID-19 pandemic

Summary: The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of psychological contract fulfillment on work outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on organizational commitment and job satisfaction, while also exploring the mediating role of co-worker support and work engagement. The findings indicate that psychological contract fulfillment positively influences work outcomes, and there are gender differences in the perception of this impact.

Summary: This study aimed to explore the factor structure of the Psychological Contract Inputs-Outcomes Inventory (PCIOI) as a reliable measure for assessing the psychological contract content elements of employees with a digital mindset. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to assess the factor structure of the 41-item inventory, which measures three higher-order dimensions. The findings provide evidence of the validity and reliability of the PCIOI as a measure for the digital mindset psychological contract, but further research is needed to validate its usefulness in the digital era.
