CODATA recommended values of the fundamental physical constants: 2018

Eite Tiesinga et al.

Summary: The self-consistent values of physics and chemistry constants recommended by CODATA for 2018 are reported, with discussions on major improvements and inconsistencies. Many constants have reduced uncertainties or exact values due to the transition to the revised SI. However, inconsistencies remain for the gravitational constant and the muon magnetic-moment anomaly.

Discovering the physics of (g-2)μ at future muon colliders

Rodolfo Capdevilla et al.

Summary: The longstanding muon g - 2 anomaly may point towards the existence of new particles coupling to muons, with implications for fundamental discoveries about our Universe. Future experiments and muon collider programs could provide further evidence of new physics and potentially unveil solutions to the anomaly.
